confirmed in foal to Lone Star Stetson for April 2009
Karma was a filly purchased from OK Appaloosas during the sell off from the Canadian ranches who lost contracts for the pregnant mare urine that supported the breeding of 10s of 1000s of mares.
The Animali Farm in Southern California is a non profit that was helping to find homes for the foals and mares.  I visited the website one day while surfing the net.  feeling that help was needed to stop the slaughter of 1000s of innocent foals I searched ruthlessly through the many pictures of foals and pinpointed 2 high quality appaloosa fillies that would fit into my program.  Of course the foals I preferred were halter bred and their sire, He Bee Arrogant, was an impressive descendant that I discovered was HYPP positive!  I contacted OK Appaloosas directly and was assured that the fillies I was interested in would be tested for hypp!  I committed to buying either of the two that were tested n/n.  As luck would have it, they both came back negative!  So I brought home two fillies the day after Thanksgiving, 2004!  I should have named Karma Wild Child as that was what she was!  Above picture was a few months later, still in their Canadian winter coats!  After their arrival I sold Roxy, (Ok puff's image) the sorrel snowcap, to a friend who helped with her halter training.  Karma was more challenging but once she decided I wasn't out to kill her she settled right into her new life!  The following year I sold Karma when downsizing my growing herd.  An updated picture is below, taken in 2008.   Karma is the leopard, Roxy is the very roan snowcap!  Roxy is confirmed in foal for March 2009 to Par Son Pine, the same sire to Dreamy's 2009 foal.
